We are the rangers
unionizing the National Park Service

Join the movement of National Park Service employees working together to strengthen our voice as stewards of this country’s most precious places.

Our vision is to unionize workers across the NPS, and to unite NPS union chapters under one movement.

We want to work together across all of our unions for better workplace conditions and the ability to do our jobs and enact the NPS mission.

Unions can help address many issues typically found at National Park sites. How many of these sound familiar?

  • Working in "acting" roles above your pay grade without compensation

  • Being assigned hazardous work without proper training, equipment, or protective gear

  • Having your schedule changed at the last minute to avoid paying overtime

  • Unlivable park housing or unreasonable rental costs

  • Career seasonal furlough dates being changed at the last minute

  • Working under constant threat of losing your job

A collective bargaining agreement can address each of these, and you can help make that happen.
